Fires in San Diego, Day 3

Outside here in La Jolla it's just creepy. The whole world is a shade of yellow, you can't see the sun and there's not a single bird in the sky. But it actually smells better than the thick white fog/smoke bank we had earlier today.
New fires have broken out, the Cedar Fire (the biggest one) continues to spread, but because the wind has shifted from offshore to onshore, the fires are now headed toward Julian. You can see in this picture (link) how dry it was in July. If the fires get there now, I don't know how much will be left not charred. {sigh}
