Since it's all official now that I'm a Geek, I'll share my geeky glee over what I've been doing since yesterday after lunch:

I set up a training schedule for our office through the end of November! I'm facilitating 10 training sessions over the next few months. 3 in Sept: One on Transient Demand/Price Sensitvity; 1 on hotel Sell Strategy & Rate Substitutions; 1 on Gtd Room Types & Informational Rate Programs.

4 in October - One on STAR market share reports; 3 on Transient Price Analysis (this is a long detailed topic utilizing lots of different analysis tool, plus I get to assign "homework" so it needs 3 different dates)

3 in November - one topic: Effective Presentations. One we talk about what not to do when public speaking (mumbling; standing stiff as a tree; using UM as every other word; using jargon), what's good to do (projection; poise; eye-contact; etc) & how to present a Business Case. Then the gals have a a week and 1/2 to come up with a topic then give a 5 minute presentation, which we'll tape, then play back to the group & critique. The next day they'll give the same presentation using the critiques of the day before to improve their skills.
