I think it must be hard to have the opnion of a majority be the opinion of the uninformed. We live and die by our Headlines, not often caring for the details within. We want black and white questions and answers when most of the world is grey. But then we ignore all of that for the Color. The Reds, the Golds, The Splash. Then we go back to our lives with our new "knowledge" planted firmly in our brains.

Freaks; Slackers; Surfers; Just a Bunch of Gays; Just a Bunch of Jews running the Studios; Liberal Agenda; All About the Dress size, the car size, the house size, the botox; illegal immagrants living off welfare & doing drugs; All the food comes from Ralphs, or Vons, or Albersons - it's not picked by hand by someone making a dollar an hour; the only industry is TV and Movies; Earthquakes happen everyday; Traffic is always bad; No One Smokes; Everyone is Pretty. And Fake; You can't go to LA with out getting shot; It Never Rains in SoCal; It Never Gets Cold; Everyone Has Road Rage; We only elected Arnold because he's Famous.

Maybe if people looked past the headlines, got on a plane, and spent just one week here, they'd see. They see the shades of Grey. It's not all the Flash and Misconceptions. It's people. Men, women, and children. Just like you. Just like your family. Working, putting food on the table, roofs over their heads, helping their kids with home work, taking the dog for a walk, taking vactions, having hobbies, living. Supporting the 5th largest Economy in the world. Striving to provide a better lives for their children, working to find what we all want in the end: to be happy.

It's not perfect, but no where is. There are issues and problems and no easy solutions. How do you say there can be NO Ilegal immagrants when farming, construction and hospitality couldn't function without them? How can you say their children should be sick because of a choice they didn't make? How can Davis know the Security Issues we still have since Sept 11th and pass a law that laughs in it's face so he could get a few more votes? Why can't the Companies Pay the Wage instead of Focus on the Profit because then we could start this whole paragraph over and maybe sharpen up the blurry edges.

How can we just sit by when the only changes are the deepening of his pockets, leaving only lint in ours? Lint and Anger. Raise our Taxes Even More. I don't mind. The 30% you take every 2 weeks isn't enough. Sure I'll pay $200 more to drive a car that's a year older. I won't mind the sales tax going up so Davis can continue to cater to Special Interests or So Cruz can support opening the borders, spending money on militant organizations, and keep taking his share from the Indian Gaming Profits. Its all fine, no worries.

Maybe you think I have no brain now that my zipcode is so close to 90210. Maybe you think my street is paved with gold and everyone here is oblivious to everything but the sunshine and the waves.

Maybe you're not thinking at all, only being spoon fed.

So many of your ideas are based on what you are told. You speak out -waving the word in front of you, waving it for all to see, hiding behind it, letting someone tell you their understanding of an outdated language thrice translated, your shield. Will that make him happy? Will that open the gate? Or does that just let you sleep at night - knowing that its all in the word. Its all set down.
